Our Client

Our client is a well-established oil and gas company headquartered in Oklahoma City known for its operational focus and collaborative work environment. The Role

This individual will support the accounting team with a focus on Lease Operating Expense (LOE) accruals, analysis, and reporting, while working closely with Operations to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial data.

• Prepare and calculate monthly LOE accruals
• Analyze gross and net LOE trends and investigate variances
• Review LOE transactions for coding accuracy and recommend corrections
• Collaborate with Operations to gather data and provide accounting support
• Assist with monthly reporting packages and presentation materials
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close activities
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3+ years of oil & gas accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets; SAP experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of LOE accounting, variance analysis, and reconciliations
