Job Summary

The Government Compliance Analyst I will assist and develop skills in the business processes and controls necessary to comply with US Government laws, regulations, and guidelines. The person will also develop skills in the establishment and monitoring of processes and controls necessary to comply with all government regulations and procedures related to business policies and procedures. Responsibilities and Tasks

Assist and learn the business processes and controls necessary to comply with US Government regulations and procedures related to cost accounting. Assist in the establishment and monitoring of processes and controls necessary to comply with all government regulations and procedures related to business cost practices. Build and maintain business analysis and models to demonstrate business compliance with US Government regulations and procedures. Develop and maintain current knowledge and interpretation of all government cost regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations, Truth in Negotiations Act, Service Contract Act, et al) and cost accounting standards (CAS). Gain knowledge of EFW accounting routines and cost practices that affect government business to meet all standards of compliance for contract cost and pricing and related financial reporting. Establish, develop, and then maintain effective and constructive relationships with government customers and representatives. Work closely with government contracts, proposals, and billing organizations to ensure compliance. Assist with supporting and coordinating DCAA and DCMA audit requests. Provide assistance in implementing compliance programs, including developing policies and procedures regarding US Government compliance. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification

Bachelor's degree is required; business or technical degree preferred. Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position): ESD Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department

Skills and Abilities

Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Accounting Systems (Baan preferred). Able to anticipate, identify, analyze, and resolve complex financial issues with assistance. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Travel/Physical Requirements

Minimal/no travel expected (0–10 percent). Work is primarily sedentary, performed in a standard office environment. Ability to sit for extended periods while reviewing documents, analyzing data, or working at a computer. Ability to stand, walk, or move about during meetings, training sessions, or audit support tasks. Manual dexterity needed to operate office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, or scanner. Visual acuity necessary for reading reports, contracts, compliance guidance, spreadsheets, and electronic documents. Occasional lifting or carrying of office materials, files, or laptops, typically up to 10–20 pounds. No unusual or strenuous physical demands are expected for this role.
