Job Summary

Handles complex negotiations for the procurement of IT goods, services, software and supplies to minimize the cost of purchases and to ensure business goals are met.

Evaluates and selects suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.

Initiates contract administration with suppliers and vendors to ensure accordance with sourcing goals.

Reviews analysis on price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.

Implements long-term supply chain strategies and develops networks to address capacity issues, etc.

Works directly with the suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.

Must Have

7+ years of IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing experience involving software, hardware, telecom, cloud, or IT services.

Strong contract and commercial negotiation experience, including negotiating pricing, terms, SLAs, and supplier agreements.

Supplier/Vendor Management experience, including supplier evaluation, performance reviews, and relationship management.

Strategic Sourcing and Category Management expertise with demonstrated cost savings and value-delivery achievements.

Experience managing procurement lifecycle from sourcing and RFP/RFQ processes through contract execution and supplier governance.

Financial and commercial acumen, including pricing analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business case evaluation.

Stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders.

Knowledge of IT products and services procurement, including software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, or managed services.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to assess supplier risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
