This position will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across global purchasing, supplier coordination, order management, logistics, inventory, and new product activities.

- Create, issue, and track purchase orders in the ERP/MRP system based on direction from the Global Sourcing Buyer/Planner.
- Confirm order acknowledgements, pricing, and delivery dates with suppliers; flag discrepancies for review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier, items, and purchasing data within the ERP system.
- Monitor open order reports and proactively follow up on outstanding confirmations, dates, and documentation.
Supplier Coordination & Communication
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for routine supplier communications, order status updates, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers on shipment readiness, documentation requests, and sample logistics.
- Help schedule and prepare materials for supplier calls and business reviews.
- Escalate supplier issues or delays to the Global Sourcing Buyer/Planner in a timely manner.
Data, Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets for open orders, lead times, shipment status, and supplier KPIs.
- Support basic cost, PPV, and landed-cost tracking by gathering and organizing data for the Buyer/Planner’s analysis.
- Pull and organize reports from the ERP system to support forecasting, planning, and sourcing decisions.
- Help keep supplier scorecards and performance trackers (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) current.
Sample & New Product Coordination
- Track sample requests, approvals, and timelines; follow up with suppliers to keep samples on schedule.
- Assist with organizing and logging incoming samples, photos, and specification documents.
- Support new product introduction timelines by keeping checklists and trackers updated.
Logistics & Documentation Support
- Assist with gathering and organizing shipping documents, customs paperwork, and compliance records.
- Monitor shipment tracking and flag potential delays to the Buyer/Planner and logistics partners.
- Help maintain organized digital files for POs, contracts, supplier documentation, and correspondence.
General Support
- Perform other sourcing, purchasing, logistics, planning, reporting, or supply-chain duties as assigned.
- Support special projects and changing business priorities as directed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
- Previous internship, co-op or work experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, logistics, inventory, customer service, operations, or data coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with an ERP, MRP, purchasing, or inventory-management system is helpful but not required.
- Strong analytical capabilities. Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, reports, and detailed documentation.
- Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- Positive Attitude - Brings energy, a can-do mindset, and genuine enthusiasm to the team every day.
- Eager to Learn - Curious and coachable; actively seeks knowledge and feedback to grow in the role.
- Detail-Oriented - Catches errors, double-checks work, and takes pride in accuracy.
- Reliable & Accountable - Follows through on commitments and can be trusted to own tasks without heavy oversight.
