Job Description
Oversees associates who post and balance books of account such as cash book, general journal, sales book, and general and subsidiary ledgers. Supervises the fixed asset program, profit and loss statements, and vouchers with proper account distribution, compilation of data for preparation of regularly scheduled and special accounting reports, analyses, and statements.

Job Qualifications
Six (6) years of accounting experience and college level education, that includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing, or a certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination, plus the completion of the Financial Management Training Program (FMT), One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.
Or Bachelors degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting and four (4) years of experience

Major Duties
- Oversees transaction processing.
- Conducts financial analysis.
- Oversees that accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are adhered to.
- Provides leadership and coaching to subordinates.
- Process improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
