About the role:
Key responsibilities include supervising accounting activities performed by the shared service center, preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual closings, analyzing balance sheet and P&L accounts, managing intercompany reconciliations, and producing statutory and consolidated financial reporting. The role also covers tax compliance (monthly, quarterly and annual filings), customer collections support, internal control activities, and audit coordination.
General Accounting & Closings
- Supervise and review Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Bank accounting activities performed by the Shared Service Center based in India
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and yearly closing entries
- Analyze and justify statutory and consolidated accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and clearing activities
- Conduct financial analysis and analytical reviews of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
Intercompany & Consolidation
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions on a quarterly basis
- Support Group consolidation processes and reporting requirement
Financial Reporting
- Prepare quarterly statutory and consolidated reporting
- Analyze variances and contribute to financial commentary and explanations
Tax Compliance
Prepare tax filings and ensure consistency between tax returns and accounting records
Internal Control
- Perform quarterly preparation of account justifications
- Support Group Internal Control reviews
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures
External Audit
- Prepare and provide documentation required by external auditors
- Contribute to audit follow-up and implementation of recommendations
Profile required:
The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of experience in audit, accounting firms, and/or corporate accounting, with a solid background in general accounting and financial reporting. A DCG or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit is required (DSCG appreciated). Strong knowledge of French accounting standards (PCG), IFRS, Oracle Cloud ERP, and advanced Excel is expected. Professional English is required.
This role requires strong analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
