General Function

The FP&A Senior Analyst provides critical analytical and operational support to the FP&A Manager to support growth and analysis of OSC Global’s financial position. This role is primarily responsible for executing day-to-day financial analysis, preparing forecasts, generating reports, and tracking project profitability. The senior financial analyst collaborates cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and operations teams to maintain accurate data alignment with corporate objectives.

Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Contribute to the development and consolidation of annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, and rolling financial projections.
    • Support the development and maintenance of revenue, gross profit margin, and indirect rate forecasts grouped by contract, customer, and business unit.
    • Build and maintain complex financial and indirect rate models, and scenario testing to support decision-making.
    • Maintain and review data within a business unit’s business development pipeline to ensure new opportunities match corporate tracking needs and to ensure the information used as input to the forecast model is properly represented.
  2.  Financial Reporting & Business Performance
    • Prepare monthly operations review (MOR) reporting packages and deliver clear variance analysis (Actuals v Budget/Forecast), identifying and communicating key drivers behind financial performance.
    • Support the monthly close process by analyzing project financial results, tracking indirect expenses, and calculating key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3.  Financial Controls & Compliance
    • Gather documentation and prepare schedules for indirect rate submissions, internal audits, and regulatory reporting.
    • Support external financial and government audits by coordinating auditor requests, compiling supporting documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  4. Collaboration & Support
    • Serve as finance business partner to cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product); enhance their understanding of financial footprints, optimize spending, and develop business cases for new projects.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to verify consistency between actual expenditures, forecasted figures, and contract management data.
    • Collaborate with department and business leadership to capture operational drivers and ensure alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Financial Performance Metrics.
    • Perform other duties as appropriate and as assigned.
