FP&A Senior Analyst
The FP&A Senior Analyst supports strategic and operational decision-making by analyzing product and business performance, developing financial models, and providing insights that drive profitability and growth. This role partners closely with product, operations, and pricing teams to evaluate product margins, forecast financial impact, assess sales opportunities, and support new product and deal analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze current product margins, work with product and operations team to understand product / product family margins
- Create process to understand fully loaded product margins, allocations of overhead expenses
- Maintain product correlation analysis and sales opportunities to current customer base
- Create financial models by product family to run scenario analysis and analyze forecast
- Assist the product team with financial modeling of new products or upgrades to existing products, understand impact to overall company
- Manage deal models for the pricing team, make updates as needed to analyze proper KPI’s of new deals
- Assist with other financial modeling as needed
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, business analytics or product analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Detail oriented and organized
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced MS Excel, including complex formulas and calculations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements analysis
- Experience analyzing large datasets
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:
- Must be able to proficiently operate Windows PC with MS Office and MS Outlook
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily indoor work in an office environment requiring long periods of sitting
- Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen
- No unusual physical requirements
