We're looking for an FP&A Manager who enjoys partnering with leaders across the business to turn financial insights into better decisions. This is a highly visible individual contributor role where you'll drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while supporting a growing global business.
This position is based in our Plymouth, Minnesota headquarters. We believe collaboration is strongest when we're together, so this role is primarily in-office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. While the role generally follows standard business hours, occasional evening or weekend work is expected during key planning cycles, month-end close, and to collaborate with colleagues in Thailand and support our global finance operations.
What You'll Do
As a key member of our Finance team, you will:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
- Develop financial models, long-range plans, and scenario analyses that support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and financial presentations for senior leadership.
- Analyze business performance and provide meaningful insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with leaders across Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, and Corporate functions to support sound business decisions.
- Develop business cases, profitability analyses, and ROI models for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
- Continuously improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through better tools and more effective ways of working.
- Develop a strong understanding of NatureWorks' manufacturing operations and business model to provide meaningful financial guidance and support informed decision-making.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys learning the business, collaborating with others, and using financial insights to make an impact.
You'll bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted partnerships across the organization.
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates beyond the financial statements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to finance and non-finance audiences alike.
- A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in enhancing processes, reporting, and business performance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting, including experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
- Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP system.
- Experience partnering with business leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.

- Salary range of $115,000-$140,000, plus 13% annual bonus opportunity
- 180 hours of paid vacation, plus 3 floating holidays and 9 company-paid holidays
