Our client is seeking a highly experienced FP&A professional to lead the enhancement and automation of its cash flow forecasting and reporting processes. This individual will be responsible for evaluating, revising, and improving the company's existing 3-way cash flow forecasting model while helping establish more efficient and scalable reporting capabilities for leadership.
Pay rate: $60-90/hour
Location: Cool Springs, TN (Hybrid Preferred / Fully Remote Considered)
Duration: 6-10 week contract assignment (temp-to-perm is possible)
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in developing and maintaining sophisticated 3-way financial models that integrate the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. In addition to strong forecasting capabilities, this resource should have a demonstrated track record of automating manual processes and improving reporting accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, redesign, and enhance the existing 3-way cash flow forecasting model.
Improve the accuracy, usability, and scalability of monthly cash flow forecasting and reporting.
Manage the monthly reporting process and prepare financial presentations for senior management.
Identify and implement automation opportunities within the forecasting and reporting environment.
Partner with finance leadership to provide actionable insights regarding cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and analytical tools to support decision-making.
Assist with long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Extensive FP&A experience with advanced expertise in cash flow forecasting and financial modeling.
Proven experience building and maintaining sophisticated 3-way financial models.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, modeling, and VBA development.
Strong SQL and business intelligence/reporting tool experience.
Demonstrated success automating financial processes and reporting workflows.
Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting results to management teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on Anaplan experience strongly preferred.
Experience automating forecasting and reporting processes within Anaplan is highly desirable and considered the preferred long-term solution.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.

Additional Information:
This opportunity may be structured as a short-term consulting engagement, a longer-term contract assignment, or potentially evolve into a permanent position for the right individual. While the company prefers candidates who can spend time in the Cool Springs office, highly qualified remote consultants will also be considered.
