HSP US: Building the Future of Energy

At HSP US, we’re looking for motivated, goal-oriented engineering professionals who want to grow their careers while contributing to high-impact work in the energy sector. If you’re energized by technical problem-solving, customer collaboration, and creating tailored engineering solutions, this role is for you. As a fast-growing operation, we are building state-of-the-art production capabilities, cutting-edge processes, and a high-performance culture centered around quality, safety, and innovation. Joining our team means being part of a once-in-a-generation start-up environment where you help lay the foundation for operational excellence for years to come.

Overview

We are looking for a driven and analytically minded FP&A & Commercial Finance Analyst to join our finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in financial planning, performance reporting, commercial decision support, and the automation of finance processes across our manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional early in their career who is eager to grow within a dynamic industrial environment.

What We Are Looking For!

- Process-improvement mindset, always looking for a smarter, faster way to get things done.
- Commercially curious with an interest in how pricing and sales decisions affect the bottom line.
- Clear communicator who can translate financial data into actionable insight for non-finance audiences
- Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables and manages their time effectively.
- Collaborative team player who builds trust with cross-functional partners in sales, operations, and leadership
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
- Design, build, and maintain management dashboards and reporting packs that deliver clear performance insights to senior stakeholders.
- Identify and lead automation opportunities across finance workflows, including reporting, data extraction, and reconciliation tasks, using tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, or Python
- Partner with the sales and commercial teams to support pricing decisions, deal structuring, customer profitability analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Provide analytical support for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and key account reviews, translating financial data into commercial recommendations.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP to support month-end closing, variance reporting, and ad hoc business requests.
- Analyze manufacturing cost drivers, including material, labor, and overhead, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, capex requests, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in month-end close activities including accruals, reforecasting, and commentary preparation.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as directed by the Head of Finance.

What You Will Bring!

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar analytical role
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred); ability to run queries and extract data independently.
- Proficiency in dashboard and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Power Query; experience with automation tools or scripting a plus.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments preferred.
- Part-qualified CPA, CMA, or CIMA is an advantage, though not required.
