Position Summary
The FP&A Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across The Digital Stronghold’s portfolio of ecommerce and retail brands. This role partners cross-functionally to deliver insights that drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across digital commerce channels.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in ecommerce or consumer brands, with strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in NetSuite and Shopify environments. This is an opportunity to work closely with leadership teams across multiple fast-growing brands in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses across multiple brands and operating units
- Build and maintain budgeting and forecasting models across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels
- Support executive decision-making through financial modeling, scenario planning, and strategic analysis
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Support annual operating plans and long-range forecasting initiatives
Reporting & Business Insights
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for leadership teams
- Deliver reporting on ecommerce and retail performance metrics including revenue, gross margin, CAC, AOV, inventory turns, and contribution margin
- Analyze sales trends, customer metrics, inventory performance, and profitability drivers
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into business performance
- Create ad hoc analyses and presentations for executive leadership and investors
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Ecommerce, Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, and Accounting teams to evaluate business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Evaluate promotions, pricing strategies, inventory investments, and new initiatives through financial analysis
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide recommendations and actionable insights
- Collaborate with accounting teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial controls
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain reliable reporting and planning processes within NetSuite and related commerce platforms
- Reconcile operational and financial data between Shopify, NetSuite, and other systems
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve FP&A workflows
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across financial and operational systems
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or other analytical roles
- Experience supporting ecommerce, retail, consumer products, or apparel businesses preferred
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and digital commerce business models
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and Shopify reporting environments strongly preferred
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong ownership mentality and follow-through

- Occasional travel for planning sessions, meetings, or brand events (<10%)
