FP&A Analyst - Revenue
Quantum • Centennial, Colorado • Full Time
Posted on Sat, Jun 20, 2026
This is a real opportunity to shape how the finance function operates at a publicly traded company during a meaningful growth and transformation phase.
Quantum
Quantum Corp. leads the world in helping users collaboratively solve some of the world's hardest computer challenges. Whether its wrangling Petabytes of data for cutting edge movie production, managing global content production workflows, exploring new sources of energy, or managing oceans of content and blending collaborative high-speed workflows with cutting-edge object storage, Quantum has the tools and technology to help you engineer the solution that works now - and preserves your work for decades to come.
What You Will Do
This role will focus on building and maintaining a rigorous, bottom-up revenue projection model. You will work closely with the senior leadership to integrate pipeline data, booking trends, and product mix assumptions into a forward-looking view of revenue performance. Quantum sells hardware, software, and services, each with distinct billing cycles and accounting treatments, and understanding how those pieces interact is foundational to the role. You will be working with Salesforce pipeline data, layering in what operations can build and ship, and applying the right accounting treatment on the back end. This role will take on long-range modeling and price and quantity projections with direct visibility to the executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a bottoms-up revenue and gross margin model, integrating pipeline data, booking trends, and product mix assumptions into a weekly executive forecast cadence
- Support the annual budget cycle and rolling forecast processes, including gathering inputs, maintaining models, and producing management reporting packages
- Build and maintain variance analysis and management commentary (actuals vs. plan, prior year)
- Develop reports and dashboards tracking revenue KPIs and financial performance trends
- Identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities, owning workflow architecture for your coverage areas over time
Who You Are
This role is built for a finance professional who thinks in systems and builds for scale. The right person has built a revenue model before, not just maintained one, and can speak to the methodology and reasoning behind it. Knowing the difference between a pipeline-coverage model and a bottom-up bookings model comes naturally, as does triangulating qualitative sales input against quantitative trend data. You can challenge assumptions constructively rather than accepting them at face value, and operate with ownership in a fast-moving environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 4 to 7 years of FP&A or finance experience with direct exposure to revenue forecasting, commercial planning, or sales finance
- Ability and interest to work in office Tuesday through Thursday in Centennial, CO
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and GTM teams, comfortable navigating both qualitative and quantitative inputs
- Familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce preferred) and how pipeline data translates to financial forecasts
- Experience modeling a multi-stream revenue environment with mixed recognition treatments across hardware, software, and services strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, dynamic scenarios, and structured workbook design
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to translate financial data into operational insight
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, hit deadlines, and operate with limited direction in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power BI or comparable BI/visualization platform experience
- SQL or data querying exposure
- Experience with planning tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Vena, Planful, or equivalent
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Query, or similar workflow automation tooling
- Public company or multi-entity reporting environment
- CPA, CFA candidate, or progress toward certification
Benefits
- Compensation: $75,000 to $110,000 base. The final range will be determined based on the candidate's experience and skill set.
- Diverse portfolio of health plans for medical and prescription, dental, vision, life, disability and supplemental medical insurance options.
- Support for efforts to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle through reimbursement and educational programs.
- Company-matched 401(k) plan to help employees save for retirement in a tax-advantaged way.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program for purchasing Quantum stock at a discounted rate.
