FP&A Analyst (Nutrition)

Within our Corporate FP&A team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a FP&A Analyst to strengthen how we evaluate growth, pricing, and financial performance across our Nutrition business. You’ll partner closely with Business Development and other teams to analyze customer opportunities, assess profitability and contract economics, and provide financial insights that support sound commercial decisions.

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

What You’ll Do:

• Build financial models that evaluate new and existing customer opportunities for Leprino’s Nutrition business.
• Partner with Business Development, Sales, and Operations to assess pricing, margin, and contract structure decisions.
• Develop clear and accurate reports that connect financial and operational data in meaningful ways.
• Use Business Intelligence tools to automate, test, and document financial reporting systems.
• Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring financial statements are complete, accurate, and on time.
• Create and maintain dashboards that highlight trends in volume, margin, and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning by compiling inputs and validating assumptions.
• Analyze dairy economics, supply and demand trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide insights that influence commercial decisions.
• Present financial findings and recommendations that help guide leadership discussions and project approvals.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, interpret, and present complex data clearly.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or contract analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for collaboration and key business meetings.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Four (4) or more years of FP&A experience within manufacturing, nutrition, or CPG industries.
• Experience implementing or enhancing BI tools and automated reporting systems.
• Familiarity with global or multi-division financial planning processes.
