At Verizon, we are building a world-class FP&A organization by streamlining processes, improving systems, and offering growth opportunities to provide strategic global support. As the APAC FP&A Consultant, you will co-pilot regional leadership and commercial partners across APAC. The role encompasses regional P&L ownership, commercial business case modeling, operational analytics, and key involvement in strategic, transformational projects. You will drive better business partnering and actionable insights while accelerating your leadership trajectory. In this role, your financial guidance will directly influence regional pricing, expansion initiatives, strategic business cases, capital allocation, and post-transaction integration milestones. Key Responsibilities Owning the end-to-end APAC revenue forecasting process and establishing cadences for regional P&L performance. Conducting monthly budget-to-actual variance analyses and co-creating actionable mitigation strategies. Building, refining, and maintaining regional and country-level profitability and costing models. Leading APAC operational expense and capital expenditure analyses to optimize cost structures. Distilling complex multi-currency data into high-impact executive decks and financial presentations. Building discounted cash flow, net present value, and scenario models to evaluate financial feasibility for commercial investments. Acting as the primary financial planning lead for Joint Venture integrations, harmonizing reporting calendars and planning systems. What we’re looking for... You are an analytical, curious, and proactive finance professional who thrives in a matrixed international environment. You enjoy digging into operational details just as much as presenting big-picture strategic narratives to senior management. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or four or more years of relevant work experiences. Four or more years of relevant work experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering. Proven track record supporting regional P&L management, revenue forecasting, and expense management within a multi-entity or regional framework (APAC experience preferred). Extensive, hands-on experience developing comprehensive business cases, financial feasibility studies (Return of Investment, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, payback period), and scenario-based decision models for commercial or capital investments. Regional APAC experience working in a Multinational Company. Even better if you have: Master’s degree, MBA, CPA, or CFA credential. Experience operating within telecommunications, technology, or large-scale multinational enterprises. Strong commercial acumen with experience advising sales, solutions, or product leaders on deal pricing, contract structures, and margin preservation. Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional business leaders in a clear and concise manner. Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP and EPM platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, Anaplan) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience utilizing ETL, workflow automation, or data integration tools (e.g., Alteryx, KNIME, SQL) to automate reporting pipelines and blend large datasets. Familiarity or proficiency with Google Workspace, Looker Studio, and AI productivity/analysis tools such as Google Gemini. Working knowledge of APAC regulatory, tax, or cross-border commercial dynamics.
