The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing division level budgets and forecast. This position will analyze, interpret, and communicate timely and unbiased financial information to management to inform critical business decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Drives planning, budgeting and forecasting process by partnering with business owners.
  • Supports monthly financial performance reporting and communications, including variance analysis, to functional and finance leaders
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to perform sophisticated, high-impact persuasive analysis that drives strategic decision-making for all areas of the business.
  • Supports process improvement efforts to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Provides research and analytical support for projects and ad hoc requests.
  • Supports development of analysis and models, including key drivers that impact business outcome.
  • Interprets financial and other data to deliver insights and support decision making for business partners

  • Qualifications

    ***Please Note: This is a hybrid position. During the first three months of employment, team members are expected to work onsite approximately three days per week in either our Oakland, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA office for onboarding and training. After this initial period, the role transitions to approximately one day per week onsite. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations.***
    Base Pay Information
    The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. 
    Pay Grade 18. $56,900 - $119,200
