SUMMARY OF POSITION The Director of FP&A owns the company's planning cadence, management reporting, and financial narrative for executives, investors, and the board. This person should operate as a true thought partner to the CFO by translating operating performance into insight, recommending actions, and producing reporting packages that require minimal CFO rewriting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and rolling forecast processes. Own monthly investor/president reporting, internal business reviews, and quarterly board materials, including commentary and storyline. Build and maintain three-statement financial models and 13-week cash flow forecasts to support planning and decision-making. Partner with accounting, project finance, and operations to explain variances, consolidate site forecasts, and identify risks and opportunities. Support strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions analysis, scenario modeling, and executive decision support. Use and improve tools such as SAP and Hyperion for reporting, planning, and Hyperion retrieve based reporting workflows.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.  Typical qualifications would be:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or FPAC preferred. 8-12+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related experience, with prior leadership responsibility. Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills, including strong knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow relationships. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create executive ready decks and written commentary. Experience with ERP tools and strong Excel and PowerPoint capability; SAP and Hyperion familiarity are strong advantages Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Must meet applicable export control requirements, including qualification as a U.S. Person where required by law or contract.
