Financial Planning Analyst Description - Job Summary The Planning Finance role is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis, and decision support to across the organization. This role partners closely with APJ Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Category, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver actionable insights that optimize revenue, profitability, inventory, working capital, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong growth mindset, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence decisions across multiple organizational levels. This individual proactively identifies opportunities, leads complex financial initiatives, drives process transformation, and develops scalable financial solutions that enable business growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives. • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders • Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and financial expertise. • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. • Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope. • Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, utilizing strong business understanding to achieve objectives effectively. • Leads and drives business initiatives, overseeing analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance. • Forecasts financial results within a broad scope and identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development, actively engaging in their design and implementation. • Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes. • Represents the organization to external customers and clients. • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies. • Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
