Financial and Billing Analyst Department Accounting Reports To Director, Finance Positions Supervised None
Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support. Improve financial performance status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management. Assist with forecasting, strategic plan financial projections and operating and capital expenditure budgeting. Ensure services provided by mission services programs are paid by funders.
Essential Job Functions
Develop, own, and sustain productive relationships with FCBDD service coordinators and Mission Service leaders, serving as a trusted financial and billing partner and primary point of contact for service authorization, funding, billing, and payment matters. Own revenue-cycle integrity for Adult Day Services, Work and Community Services, and Residential Services, ensuring that all eligible services are accurately authorized, documented, billed, recorded, reconciled, and collected. Identify billing errors and then work collaboratively with Primary Solutions, FCBDD, and Mission Services personnel to ensure all billed services are submitted to funders by established deadlines and subsequently paid. Develop, update and report key business ratios and productivity measures. Develop and update P&L and cash flow actuals forecasts, including the full understanding of all revenue sources. Provide support during the annual operating budget cycle and other special projects as required by business needs. Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed. Provide due diligence and analysis support during M&A, business partnership and new business development opportunities. Prepare GII statistical, Scorecard and other periodic reporting requirements. Other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Ancillary Job Functions
Responsible for maintaining a safe environment in all areas and ensuring compliance with all GWC policies, procedures and CARF requirements. This person will be working with Protected Health Information (PHI) regularly and as a result is expected to follow federal guidelines set by HIPAA and HITECH.
Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
