Job Functions
- Analyzes complex financial information to determine present and future financial status by comparing plans and forecasts with actual results.
- Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; analyzing operational strategies; identifying trends; and, recommending actions.
- Responsible for analysis pertaining to multiple operational areas (F&B, gaming, non-gaming).
- Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing large data sets; preparing reports; and, making presentations of findings, analyses, and actionable recommendations to maximize efficiencies and service deliverables.
- Assists with the preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, operational strategies, marketing strategies and customer analysis, labor modeling, and market/industry performance.
- Assists the VP of Finance and Director of Finance in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with other departments to establish effective partnerships in order to achieve company goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Planning & Analysis Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
- Two or more years related professional experience, preferably in an analytical role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of gaming industry experience preferred.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
- High level of proficiency in SQL.
- Experience working closely with senior management.
- Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated success in independent project management.
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
