Financial Analyst

OVERVIEW

This role involves providing governance for the entire portfolio within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The focus is on financial analysis and business case analysis, presenting monthly information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Contract Duration: 12 months

Pay: T4:$ 36  / IC $42

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct business case analysis and financial analysis.
• Present monthly portfolio information to CIOs using PowerPoint.
• Own and manage processes independently.
• Work with large data sets to perform financial analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business case analysis and finance.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in front of business leaders.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Ability to work autonomously in an unstructured environment.
• Eager to learn and develop professionally.
• Expertise in PowerPoint.

PREFERRED

• Experience in the banking or financial industry.
• Recent graduates with a strong desire to learn and advance.
• Combination of finance skills and familiarity with technology in financial analysis.

EDUCATION

• Accounting expertise preferred; CMA is a better fit.
