Summary
Position will be responsible for financial and costing activities for Matec, in accordance with GAAP, as well as in accordance with TIMET/PCC Corporate Policies. Position involves direct interaction with plant level personnel, commercial sales personnel, local operations manager in the preparation of product costing actives and inventory control, and Sarbanes Oxley responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency improvement
- Produce and maintain business dashboards reports (Daily Flex, Weekly P&L, and others)
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as required
- Assist with month end closing including the preparation of month end journal entries and account reconciliations
- Develop and maintain cost models
- Oversee inventory counts and reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with creating budgets and forecasts
- Assist with audit requests including SOX and internal and external auditors
- Participate in various team projects
- Assist SOX Coordinator with various Sarbanes Oxley responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of the FQR and MOR package
- Complete various census, tax, and other government survey requests.
- Create and monitor various metrics for projects assigned

Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree – Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years in related field in a manufacturing environment
