This role supports the timely and accurate reporting of daily and monthly financial and operational data. This position reports to the Plant Controller.What you will be doingMaintain accurate standard costs, including the annual cost review process, inventory costing, and absorption testing.Provide financial analysis to identify cost control opportunities and support working capital management.Review internal controls and assess design and operating effectiveness.Support month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.Analyze monthly actual profits and losses versus budget and forecast.Conduct cost studies, item-level costing, and customer profitability analysis. Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWhat will make you successful?Required Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.Minimum of three (3) years in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or a similar role.Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment.Strong understanding of standard costing principles and variance analysis.Experience tracking and reporting manufacturing KPIs.Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.Knowledge of capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking and analysis.Experience preparing financial reports, cost analyses, and performing metrics.Understanding of internal controls, compliance standards and audit support.
