Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.*This position may be filled as a Financial Analyst I, II or III depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, monitor, and refine forecasting models for monthly electricity sales (kWh) and hourly electric load (MW)Develop, monitor, and refine forecasting models for monthly natural gas salesUnderstand factors affecting how electricity consumption could change over time and develop ways to include potential effects in forecast scenariosDevelop analysis and deliver reports and presentations to assist with the understanding of the consumption forecasts, economic conditions, and other itemsDesign and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracyPerform ad hoc analysis, summary analysis, trend analysis, and statistical analysis and communicate results as neededSupport regulatory requirements of RFIs and other external data requests on an ad hoc basis, as well as responding to internal requests for information in an efficient and timely mannerParticipate in regular safety meetings and work in a safety-conscious mannerAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum education required of the positionBS/BA in a technical field such as Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics or have equivalent work experience.Minimum experience required of the positionAnaylst I: 0-2 years professional experience.Anaylst II: 2-4 years professional experience.Analyst III: 4-6 years professional experience.Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the positionThe ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills, be forward-thinking and creative, will be a self-starter, and will exhibit a commitment to the quality of his/her work.
