Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for performing daily maintenance, updates, and security changes for financial systems, including user support and training. Assists in designing and maintaining business rules, dimension tables, and standardized naming conventions to optimize system processes. Conducts financial, statistical, and data analyses to support leadership decision-making and performance tracking. Develops financial models, prepares reports, and assists with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure accurate, analytics and continuous process improvement.
Essential Functions
• Performs financial, statistical, and data analyses to support financial decision-making for hospital, ambulatory, corporate, and medical practice areas.
• Manages performance tracking, trend analysis, and reporting of financial and operational data, ensuring accuracy and high quality.
• Coordinates, manages, and disseminates financial and analytical tools, calendars, and systems, and assists with standardization of data conventions.
• Reviews, reconciles, and audits financial data, maintains master data, and ensures timely and accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepares, analyzes, and submits recurring and special reports, surveys, and audit documentation, and assists departments in interpreting data.
• Proactively initiates contact with client groups, monitors strategic plans, and develops recommendations to help clients reach goals.
• Models and promotes excellent customer service and expands professional knowledge through ongoing training and education.
• Partners and collaborates with clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as UK policies and procedures.
• Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying, developing, and implementing process enhancements and evaluating effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
Experience Requirement
2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
