Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions and corporate strategy.
• Develop financial forecasts, analyzes, and operational metrics tracking to provide critical financial insights that will help drive business decisions.
• Perform variance analysis and identify trends to support the financial planning and analysis efforts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Research and analyze financial information to help the company mitigate risk, perform due diligence, and make informed decisions.
• Review and assess capital expenditure requests, ensuring they align with strategic plans and financial status.
• Analyze competitors, market trends, and industry changes to provide foresighted insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate financial and operating results daily against budgets and forecasts to more effectively support operational strategies.
• Participate in strategic planning, budget development, and financial forecasting.
• Implement and work with business intelligence tools or dashboard reports for effective decision-making processes.
• Prepare business case analyses and validate resource allocation across departments.
• Communicate financial concepts and results clearly to non-financial department heads to influence business strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a similar role with demonstrated proficiency.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based business analytics platforms like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial securities regulations.
• Skilled at organizing tasks, managing time, and prioritizing projects in order to meet tight deadlines.
