About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst II to join a leading healthcare organization on a short-term, 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, data analysis expertise, and a passion for driving efficiency within healthcare systems. You’ll serve as a trusted financial resource, helping leaders make informed decisions that improve both productivity and cost-effectiveness.What You’ll Do
As a Financial Analyst II, you will:- Partner with administrators and department leaders to provide critical financial studies and insights.
- Conduct external labor productivity benchmarking for hospital and clinic staff, identifying opportunities to improve workforce efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to explain benchmarking processes, interpret results, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Collect, validate, and analyze large sets of operational and labor productivity data.
- Develop dashboards and reports that communicate benchmarking results and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Provide ongoing budget vs. actual variance analysis, investigating trends and highlighting areas for correction.
- Prepare and present findings on labor productivity initiatives to leadership teams.
- Support efficiency studies and generate clear, actionable management reports.
- Serve as a financial liaison across multiple departments and teams.
- Maintain professional growth and share knowledge by conducting finance training as needed.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial analysis, preferably within healthcare.
- Skills:
- Proven experience with productivity and benchmarking analysis.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from department directors to operational leaders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
