As a Financial Analyst I, II, or III, you will provide critical financial analysis, reporting, and decision support to help advance organizational performance. As a Financial Analyst I, you will prepare, analyze, and report key financial and revenue cycle management (RCM) information while developing standard and ad hoc reports to support enterprise needs. As a Financial Analyst II, you will analyze financial operations and information to provide meaningful insights and decision support to executive leadership. As a Financial Analyst III, you will provide financial and revenue cycle management (RCM) data, metrics, and standard or ad hoc reporting to support organizational goals. Responsibilities may include general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis, and Chargemaster management.
A caregiver in this role works from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. (flexible start/end times)
Candidates must reside in NE Ohio and be available to meet on-site at West Creek in Independence once a month with the team, as well as on an as-needed basis.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Prepare, analyze, and communicate key financial information and provide support to management and staff regarding financial reporting and related issues.
Assist with budget preparation, financial planning processes, and budget review for compliance and opportunities.
Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Complete special projects and duties, including providing necessary research, forecasting, and conflict resolution.
Provide financial reporting support and address related financial issues for management and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: (Financial Analyst I):
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
OR High School diploma/GED and four years of experience
OR Associate’s degree and two years of experience
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: (Financial Analyst II)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and two years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience
OR Associate’s degree and four years of experience
OR Master’s degree and one year of experience
OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and one year of experience
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: (Financial Analyst III)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and three years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
OR Master’s degree and two years of experience
OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and one year of experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Basic Microsoft Excel experience (Financial Analyst I & III)
Experience with large databases (Snowflake, SQL Server, or other systems)
Basic understanding of financial statements
Experience in a healthcare environment or healthcare finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
