Financial Analyst ( NOT REMOTE)

This position will directly support the CEO and Hillandale Leadership in developing, forecasting, and variance monitoring to analyze financial, sales and other and company data. 

Essential Job Functions

• Will collaborate with the finance, sales, and operation teams on planning forecasting, budgets, analysis and reporting
• Strong AI knowledge to use daily and in the accounting access
• Assist in analyzing monthly financial statements, sales analytics and other company data
• Participate in developing and tracking operational metrics related to financial performance 
• Provide assessment of data to assist management in the overall improvement of operations
• Generate planned reports as well as ADHOC requests 
• Develop and maintain confidential databases to monitor business performance, and provide managers with insights into risks and opportunities
• Improve fiscal health with thorough analyses of financial data: develop deep, actionable insights to drive business performance by monitoring variances and identifying trends
• Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
• Participate in the ERP implementation 
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of overall business experience, accounting and financial planning and analysis roles
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
• Strong data analysis and Microsoft excel skills
• AI experience in accounting and to use in daily tasks
• Be willing to travel as needed to other company locations
• Experience in trend analytics and financial forecasting
• Proven efficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
• ERP experience, preferably in Microsoft Business Central
• Solid organizational, time management, problem-solving, judgment, and interpersonal skills are critical
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various departments
