What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
- Support development of annual budgets, departmental forecasts, and long-term plans
- Analyze operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate financial impact of service line and operational changes
- Build financial models for growth initiatives and strategic planning
- Analyze labor productivity and financial performance trends
- Utilize data tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools) to extract and analyze financial data
- Benchmark organizational performance against industry standards
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid requirements
- Collaborate with operational leaders and departments to improve financial performance
What We’re Looking For
- Healthcare financial or healthcare operations experience REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance or operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Healthcare reimbursement
- Financial trends and policy changes
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling) required
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Experience in hospital setting preferred but not required
