Position Summary
- Act as the central figure within FP&A for detailed non-interest expense reporting, budgeting, tracking, and variance analysis
- Maintain and develop dashboards on expenses and other key metrics in Tableau
- With other Finance team members, collaborate with project managers to create project investment theses; analyze the financial impact of new initiatives/strategic business decisions
- Create reports in Tableau, Powerpoint, and other tools for Executive consumption
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reporting cycles
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree, Diplomas & Certifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field, and pursuing or obtained a professional designation (CPA or CFA)
Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:
- Typically 2+ years of previous working experience in finance, reporting, or accounting. Prior experience in financial services is an asset.
- Advanced Excel user and experience working with reporting and planning tools including Adaptive Insights and Tableau
- Strong communicator, able to present technical topics clearly
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
