We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to take ownership of our fixed asset and capital accounting processes in a fast-paced, multi-regional environment. This role combines technical accounting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong exposure to IFRS, audit, and process improvement.
What you'll do:
Manage the fixed asset lifecycle (creation, capitalization, transfers, disposals) Evaluate CapEx spend and apply judgment on capitalization vs. expense decisions Perform reconciliations (subledger to GL) and investigate variances Partner with AP and operational teams to ensure accurate asset accounting Prepare depreciation, journal entries, and monthly reporting Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls Identify opportunities to improve processes and data accuracy
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA (or near completion) 3–5 years of experience in fixed assets within a large, complex organization and/or working with high-volume asset populations. Strong knowledge of IFRS and capitalization principles Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Workday an asset)
Salary: $69,300 - 80,000 annually (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
