Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical to supporting the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with executive leadership to develop financial insights, build complex models, and support key initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, and asset/liability management (ALM). This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and regulated financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Support the CFO in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic initiatives
• Develop, maintain, and analyze complex financial models, including stress testing scenarios
• Assist in ALM reporting, including preparation of IRR and risk management reports
• Partner with the Controller on the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy of assumptions and data inputs
• Maintain and improve budgeting and reporting systems, models, and financial structures

Additional Responsibilities

• Analyze deposit and loan pricing to support profitability and rate strategies
• Monitor liquidity needs, including FHLB/FRB advance analysis
• Develop and maintain ad hoc financial and operational reports
• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple systems to deliver actionable insights
• Prepare quarterly Board reporting packages and support strategic planning initiatives
• Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• CPA designation preferred

Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience, which may include:
  • Financial analysis and modeling
  • Credit or investment analysis
  • ALM or ALCO support
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Bond accounting or trading
• Experience with tools such as S&P Capital IQ, Cognos, ALM software, or similar platforms preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced Excel and strong technical data skills
• Experience working with large datasets, databases, and query tools
• Strong understanding of financial statements and modeling techniques
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Professional office setting with moderate noise levels
• Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods at a computer
• Regular use of standard office equipment
• Occasional travel for meetings or training
• Ability to review detailed financial data and reports
• Light lifting (up to 10–15 pounds) may be required
