The Continental Europe region currently operates in France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and more recently in Poland, Hungary, Chek Republic and Slovakia.

The Position

DCC Energy Solutions Continental Europe is seeking to recruit an ambitious, analytical and commercially minded Financial Analyst to support the Finance Director across the region. This is a high-visibility role offering exposure to a diverse international portfolio of businesses across Continental Europe as well as to interact with DCC group colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support FP&A activities across the region, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning processes.
• Work closely with the Regional CFO, Finance Directors and local finance teams across the region to deliver performance analysis, management reporting, internal audit and financial insights.
• Prepare business reports, reporting packs and presentations ( Powerpoint / Excel) for senior management, highlighting key financial and operational performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support ad hoc financial, commercial and strategic analysis to assist senior management decision making.
• M&A support for post-acquisition integration activities and contribute to the development, consistency, and continuous improvement of financial reporting, processes and systems across the region.

DCC Energy Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and commercially aware finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with the ability to build effective relationships across an international organisation.

Skills and Experience

• Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Strong personal presence with excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Strong IT and digital solutions appetite. Expert at Excel is a must have. Including acumen for automation tools such as Power BI and an interest in using AI.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within an international finance environment.
• Fluency in English and another European language would be a bonus.
• Previous experience through internships, placements or full-time roles in FP&A, corporate finance, audit, consulting, or a similar analytical environment would be advantageous.
