Financial Analyst

Ensuring financial health and alignment of business goals while identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Communicate financial performance to internal stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Operator, Chief Growth Officer and other senior leaders in all matters relating to financial performance and compliance

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability trends
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses of the restaurants
• Establish project budgets to assist our Senior Directors of Operations with proper strategy/decision making
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc financial reports
• Complete month-end financial reporting to Chick-fil-A on behalf of our restaurants

Cash Flow Management

• Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning efforts
• Manage our cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency
• Monitor and track all expenses utilizing the Restaurant Payables and Imaging System (RPIS)
• Review all vendor invoices for accuracy
• Reconcile credit cards monthly, ensuring receipts have been submitted via RPIS
• Submit accurate and timely payments to all vendors and suppliers

Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Identify financial and operational risks, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and best practices

Qualifications

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field 
• Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting
• Chick-fil-A or QSR experience preferred

Competencies

• Strong proficiency in Excel or related software
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
