Financial Analyst Capital Markets

Trinity Industries is searching for a Financial Analyst to join our Capital Markets team in our Dallas, TX office!

You will be a member of a small dynamic team which is responsible for managing over $5B of secured debt financings (ABS and term loans) and over $3B of managed railcars. We welcome your ideas and your outstanding work ethic.

What you'll do:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports related to several financial vehicles
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly presentations for internal management and external partnerships
• Participate on deal teams for new financings, refinancings or other transactions
• Work on ad hoc projects as assigned
• Develop and utilize complex financial models manipulating large amounts of data
• Develop and summarize research material

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a financial analysis or reporting role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Advanced experience in all other Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong professional presentation skills
• ABS or Investment Banking Experience a plus
• Rail experience a plus
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
