The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for the organization, preparation, and distribution of financial and operational reports, ongoing trend and variance analysis, and assisting with the annual budget for properties as assigned. Financial and operational reports include but are not limited to Guest Survey, Labor, Activity, Spa, and Month-End reporting responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure accurate and consistent distribution of assigned daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reporting.
Guest Survey Reporting
Activity/Spa/Incidental Reporting
Daily Labor Reporting
Static Data Tracking
Company Financial Summaries
Company Forecasts
Ongoing and frequent financial and operational analysis; reporting data and insight into trends to leadership as appropriate.
Develop ad-hoc reporting on company initiatives as needed.
Develop new static Financial, Sales, or KPI reports as needed.
Creation and maintenance of departmental financial dashboards.
Assist in the annual budgeting process as needed.
Maintain departmental declining budgets and assist operations in tracking expenditures accordingly.
Support the Manager of Finance with special projects and analysis as needed.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field or 3-5 Years Experience in Accounting or Finance

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate with ALL Team Members in a professional and courteous manner. Excellent communication and writing skills and a professional appearance are required.

Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions that will impact the financial well-being of the company.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
General Office
Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods
Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods when conducting inventories and other on-property tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
General Office
Some Travel to NC may be required (2 or fewer trips a year)
HOURS:
Monday – Friday – 8 am – 5 pm
On occasion, some weekends and/or evenings as required by hotel occupancy or as needed to handle weekend emergencies.
