Financial Analyst - Mobility

What we need help with:
The Financial Analyst will report to the Director, FP&A, and will partner with business leaders in and outside of the finance and accounting team. They will synthesize complex financial and operational data into dashboards and OKRs that support meaningful analysis and insights. They will be a key player in annual budgeting and monthly reforecasts and will assist with the forecasting and budgeting models. This position will have exposure to leadership and will have exposure to various parts of our organization.
Assist with the annual operating plan, budget process and monthly reforecasting process for automotiveMastermind and affiliated entities.
Assist in headcount management for the organization.
Own month-end reconciliations for key financial metrics and collaborate cross-functionally to perform monthly financial close process.
Provide continued development and improvement of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
Work with department and business units to understand the key drivers of their business and business requirements, and assist in tracking and influencing these drivers
Develop and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and variance analysis, by creating simple and effective weekly and monthly reporting.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis - Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing, and new initiatives.
Analyze large data sets, complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making.
Continually improve the quality of data and prioritize accuracy of inputs used in financial decision-making.
Who you are:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
2+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of SQL is an asset
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting
Robust financial modeling skills
Ability to think critically; high level of problem-solving skills
Experience with Sales Force or other CRM tools strongly preferred
Excellent time management skills
Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively; highly-driven and self-motivated
Initiative-taker with the mindset of continuous improvement
Where you will be:
This position is based in our New York headquarters. We work a hybrid work schedule with a current minimum of two teamwide designated days in the office subject to change.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $78,750 to $95,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. We work to a flexible schedule based on the company needs; generally, this is Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekend may be required.
