Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd. (NT Power) delivers electricity to almost 50,000 customers within the Town of Newmarket, Town of Midland and Tay Township. Headquartered in Newmarket, Ontario, NT Power has an additional office in Midland, Ontario, approximately one hour north of Newmarket along the shores of Georgian Bay. 

We require a dynamic, highly motivated, and proactive Financial Analyst to work out of our head office in Newmarket. This is an 18-month contract position. This role operates in a flexible hybrid setting, combining remote and in-person work arrangements.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst provides regulatory and financial support to the Regulatory Finance and Finance teams. Responsibilities include mainly supporting the preparation and processing of the company’s cost of service rate filing and incentive rate mechanism filing with the Ontario Energy Board. Other responsibilities include assisting with regulatory Reporting and Record-keeping Requirements (RRR) to be in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, supporting financial reporting cycles, and projects on an as-needed basis. The Financial Analyst will work in a team environment, providing day-to-day support on regulatory and finance function as required.

This is a new position with NT Power. The starting salary for this position is $81,820.08.
