QUALIFICATIONS:

REPORTS TO:     Chief Financial Officer/Director of Accounting and Auditing

JOB GOAL:     To provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations in the financial and accounting matters of the business office.  Provide support and administer budgeting and reporting issues.

PERFORMANCE  RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Data entry of financial information.
  2. Budget manager for all Special Education funds.
  3. Manage and train the Employee Access Center.
  4. Responsible for Building Bookkeeper training.
  5. Update and digitize the Red Book Business Office Procedures per the designated Red Book Committee in the business office.
  6. Prepare and distribute the yearly Budget Book.
  7. Assist with monthly financial reports.
  8. Responsible for the Wisely card program.
  9. Process all Ricoh transactions.
  10. Prepare requisitions for the business office.
  11. Prepare payroll information for business office personnel as necessary.
  12. File all legal action promptly with the insurance company and DESE when necessary.
  13. Maintain a file on each legal action against the District, including attorney fees/costs for insurance claim reporting.
  14. Obtain licenses for newly purchased vehicles and renew the licenses on district vehicles.
  15. Maintain an up-to date vehicle list and file of vehicle titles and Statements of Origin on buses.
  16. Receive calls, keep an itinerary and prepare forms for the CFO and Director of Accounting and Auditing. 
  17. Maintain accurate meeting notes for reference.
  18. Manage daily business office mail.
  19. Manage the supply room for the business office.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary Range:              Range 2 – Support Staff Daily Salary Schedule ($201.70 - $317.82/day depending on relevant experience)

Length of Contract:     244 contract days

FLSA Status:                Exempt

Personnel Status:        Classified

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
