How you make a difference
As an Accountant, the focus is primarily on hands-on general accounting activities, including the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules. The role is responsible for creating financial reports for management in accordance with company policies and regulations, ensuring accurate and transparent information flow. In addition, the Accountant monitors and analyzes fluctuations in financial data to maintain oversight and control.
Key Responsibilities
Month and Year-End Closing
- Perform SAP-based month and year-end closing activities, including clearing General Ledger (G/L) accounts and generating reports.
- Process provisions, prepayments, and accruals.
- Confirm and post invoices in the system as required.
Statutory Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and report statutory accounts and financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Asset Management
- Oversee the management of company assets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Internal Audits
- Execute internal controls and report findings to upper management, Samsung Korea, and external auditors.
Project Innovation and Compliance
- Contribute to projects within the Accounting Department or represent the department in initiatives with financial impact.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and GPPM standards.
- Drive improvements in task efficiency and reporting processes within the department.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and process efficiency across the organization.

Requirements
- Completed Bachelorâs degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1- 3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Experience working with accounting policies and IFRS standards.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Strong skills in Excel and SAP systems.
