Position Summary:
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the home sales process by ensuring loan packages are complete, accurate, and submitted effectively to lending partners. This position directly impacts whether a home sale successfully funds and serves as the primary point of ownership for the financing process from initial file intake through funding.
The Finance Manager works closely with the sales team and external lending partners to secure approvals for buyers while maintaining strong lender relationships and driving consistent funding outcomes.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
- Manage the financing process from file intake through funding, maintaining ownership of all loan packages and lender submissions.
- Review, organize, and submit complete and accurate financing packages to lending partners on the first submission whenever possible.
- Verify required documentation, clear lender conditions, coordinate resubmissions, and ensure files continue moving toward approval and funding.
- Work directly with external lenders to secure approvals and maintain momentum on active deals.
- Develop and maintain strong lender relationships that support faster approvals and increased confidence in Roberts Resorts financing packages.
- Partner with the sales team to obtain complete and accurate documentation needed to support financing applications.
- Identify causes of loan denials and implement solutions to reduce future denials and improve overall approval performance.
- Monitor active financing files daily, maintaining awareness of the status and progress of every deal in the pipeline.
- Follow up on missing documentation and outstanding conditions before they impact approval timelines or funding outcomes.
- Track approval rates, turnaround times, and funding performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
- Maintain a high standard of file quality and accuracy to support predictable funding outcomes and minimize delays.
- Support a culture of ownership, accountability, responsiveness, and results throughout the financing process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Adaptability: Responds quickly to changing lender requirements, conditions, and deal-specific challenges.
- Results Orientation: Focuses on funded deals, approval rates, turnaround times, and overall financing performance.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seeks opportunities to eliminate rework, improve submission quality, and create more predictable outcomes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage, auto, manufactured housing, or similar consumer lending environments required.
- Experience in loan processing, underwriting, finance management, or a related lending role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
