Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.The Retail \u0026 Marcom Engineering Finance organization is chartered to provide sound financial governance and oversight across our Engineering teams, ensuring that Apple Retail and Marcom implement the right-sized projects (in terms of dollars and people resources) to keep us on the cutting edge of customer service. We are looking for someone who can not only support the workforce management behind these projects but also assess the portfolio’s financial health and provide thought leadership as we continue to evolve. This individual will partner with key stakeholders across the Engineering, Retail Business Unit, Marcom, and other IS\u0026T teams, such as Business Planning and Finance.\\n\\nYou will play a crucial role in managing Retail \u0026 Marcom Engineering’s workforce, from capacity planning and resource allocation to tool/process development to workforce strategy and change management. This leader will manage a team of analysts that provides workforce management and financial operations support and guidance across the lifecycle of software development projects and system sustenance. Success in this role includes leading and mentoring analysts, building trust and partnerships, driving results, influencing leadership through data, and being motivated to improve and innovate (especially in the face of ambiguity).Ownership, execution, and management of capacity planning and resource allocation processes and analyses, including but not limited to - \\nDevelopment of scenario-based forecasts and strategic plans to manage capacity\\nLeadership of resource activities and ensuring accurate, proper allocations \\nModeling and assessing contractor resource allocations against each portfolio’s budget\\nEducating, training, and supporting stakeholders\\nCreating reports to not only understand supply, demand, and utilization but also to analyze the data in order to provide insights and assist with decision-making\\nFull end-to-end management of the Role Conversion Program, from examining contractor-to-employee conversion proposals to forming the business case, to execution, to analysis of the optimal contractor-to-employee ratios\\nCollaborating with various teams to form and maintain service hierarchies that provide leadership with valuable information in serving the needs of various business units \\nThought leader and driver in workforce management and supporting systems\\nDriving initiatives, efficiencies, and deeper analyses of current processes and activities (in the face of ambiguity and dynamic business needs)7+ years of relevant experience in a high-performance organization, performing financial processes, reporting, and forecasting/modeling\\nProven people leadership experience (direct or indirect)\\nTeam leader and/or player with the ability to partner and influence across different organizations and at all levels\\nB.A./B.S. or higher in Finance, Accounting, or relevant fieldDemonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a dynamic environment\\nExhibits high analytical capabilities with the ability to distill complex and large data into insights communicated in simple and efficient ways\\nShown to be a dedicated problem solver, expected to analyze a problem and work to recommend viable and highly effective solutions\\nExceptionally detail-oriented with the insight to determine the applicability of big picture analysis\\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\\nExperience developing processes and/or improving existing processes with a desire to influence change across teams and organizations\\nUnwavering intellectual curiosity with the ability to turn findings into unique insights. Is not satisfied with easy or convenient answers and drives issues to the root cause\\nExperience with enterprise software systems and/or Apple internal applications (e.g., Clarity, Excel, Tableau)
