The Maine Bureau of Veterans’ Services (MBVS) is hiring a Finance Manager (Public Service Coordinator I – CA24) for our Central Office at Camp Keyes in Augusta. MBVS advocates for Maine’s veterans, their families, and transitioning service members by delivering benefits, programs, and memorial services that honor service and strengthen communities. This position plays a key role in that mission by providing financial leadership and ensuring sound fiscal stewardship across the Central Office, the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery System, and Veterans’ Services.

The Finance Manager serves as the Bureau’s accounting and finance subject matter expert, working closely with senior leadership, the Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery System, and Veterans’ Services. The role also provides interim Contract and Grant Management coverage and manages the Bureau’s annual budget and work program. Preferred experience includes CGI Advantage, P‑Card administration, budget development and management, annual work program development, and knowledge of SAAM, GAAP, and GASB principles.
