This is a high-visibility role requiring strong analytical depth, cross-functional partnership, and comfort operating across both traditional finance and emerging technology domains.
You will work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
1. Vertical Sales Growth, STRAP & Commercial Metrics
- Partner directly with vertical sales leaders to track and analyze sales growth performance against targets, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Own the build and maintenance of commercial performance metrics, including pricing realization, inflation pass-through, and tariff impact on cost and margin.
- Develop and refine net price waterfall analysis to isolate the impact of price, volume, mix, and cost inflation on margin.
- Monitor tariff exposure across the supply chain and quantify financial impact scenarios, partnering with sourcing and operations to model mitigation strategies.
- Lead annual STRAP planning cycles with growth models, bridges, and scenario analysis.
- Build recurring reporting packages and dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into growth, pricing, and margin performance.
2. Licensing Business Wind-Down Support
- Lead financial analysis supporting the orderly wind-down of the licensing business line.
- Partner with legal, accounting, and operations to assess contract and TSA (Transition Services Agreement)-related financial exposures and obligations through wind-down completion.
- Distinguish and properly classify true stranded costs versus balance sheet and one-time items (e.g., goodwill, impairments) in wind-down reporting.
- Monitor wind-down milestones against plan and proactively flag risks, delays, or unbudgeted costs to finance leadership.
- Support documentation and audit-readiness of wind-down financials, ensuring accurate and defensible reporting throughout the process.
3. Finance Systems Transformation
- Serve as a finance business partner on the multi-year systems transformation roadmap spanning EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), OneStream, SAP S/4HANA, GDM (Global Data Management), and EPM platforms.
- Translate finance and reporting requirements into system design input, working closely with IT and implementation partners.
- Support data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities during each phase of implementation to ensure data integrity across legacy and new systems.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and design of new reporting structures, hierarchies, and chart of accounts within OneStream and EPM tools.
- Drive change management and adoption across the finance organization, including training, documentation, and troubleshooting support post-go-live.
- Identify opportunities to simplify or eliminate legacy manual processes as new systems and platforms come online.
4. AI, Analytics & Insight Automation
- Blend traditional financial analysis with data science and applied AI/ML techniques to generate deeper commercial and operational insights.
- Design and build automated, repeatable deliverables (dashboards, models, recurring reports) that reduce manual effort and increase the speed and accuracy of finance outputs.
- Apply driver-based and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting accuracy across sales, pricing, and cost lines.
- Identify and pilot use cases for AI-enabled anomaly detection, variance explanation, and narrative generation to accelerate month-end and forecast cycles.
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure underlying data infrastructure (EDW, GDM) supports scalable, trustworthy analytics.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to keep the finance function's analytics capability current and competitive.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally spanning FP&A, commercial finance, or transformation-related roles.
- Demonstrated experience with pricing, margin, and commercial economics analysis; exposure to inflation/tariff impact analysis a plus.
- Familiarity with EPM and financial systems (OneStream, SAP S/4HANA, EDW concepts, GDM) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or similar) and genuine interest in applying AI/ML techniques to finance use cases.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across sales, accounting, IT, and senior leadership.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and managing multiple concurrent workstreams across commercial, transformation, and analytics domains.
