About the Role
As a Senior Finance Manager supporting the Global Marketing organization, you will serve as the primary strategic finance partner to the Head of Global Marketing and the Marketing Leadership Team. You will provide financial leadership, insights, and decision support to help drive growth, maximize marketing effectiveness, and ensure resources are allocated to the highest-impact opportunities across the organization.You will develop a holistic view of the global marketing portfolio, partnering closely with global, regional, and local marketing leaders to align investment priorities, unlock synergies, and optimize return on investment. As a people manager, you will lead a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of business partnership, accountability, and continuous +improvement.
This role requires a highly strategic mindset, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence decisions across a complex, matrixed organization.
This role requires you to work on-site at our Northridge, CA office at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Business Partnership & Financial Leadership
- Serve as the primary finance partner to the Head of Global Marketing and the Global Marketing Leadership Team, providing proactive financial guidance and strategic decision support.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the global marketing organization, including strategic priorities, investment plans, resource allocation, and performance objectives.
- Partner with marketing leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, investment tradeoffs, and resource prioritization decisions.
- Influence key business decisions through actionable insights, scenario planning, financial modeling, and data-driven recommendations.
- Translate marketing strategies and initiatives into clear financial implications and measurable business outcomes.
Marketing Investment Management & Portfolio Optimization
- Lead the planning, forecasting, and management of the global marketing budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth priorities.
- Evaluate marketing programs, campaigns, capabilities, and strategic initiatives through rigorous business case & ROI development and post-investment assessments.
- Identify opportunities to optimize spending, improve efficiency, and maximize marketing effectiveness across global, regional, and local teams.
- Establish frameworks and metrics to measure marketing performance, return on investment, and value creation.
Global Alignment & Organizational Effectiveness
- Foster collaboration and alignment across global, regional, and local marketing organizations to ensure consistency in planning, execution, and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage scale, eliminate duplication, and create synergies across marketing teams and initiatives.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead annual operating plans, long-range strategic planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reviews for the Global Marketing organization.
- Monitor spending trends, headcount investments, and program performance while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Deliver timely variance analysis and recommendations to support performance management.
- Support executive reviews with clear, concise financial analyses and strategic recommendations.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and business impact.
- Champion best practices in financial planning, business partnering, and analytical excellence across the finance organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering and FP&A leadership responsibilities
- Or, advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 5+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering and FP&A leadership responsibilities
- 5+ years of managerial experience
Nice-to-Have
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives and influencing strategic business decisions.
- Strong financial modeling, strategic planning, and investment analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ownership of P&L management, program-level budgets and full-lifecycle business cases.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation capabilities.
- Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Experience supporting Marketing, Commercial or Product organizations preferred.
- MBA or other equivalent Finance or management accounting credentials.
- Proven ability to translate technical and operations details into clear financial insights and influence cross-functional teams up to VP / Board level.
- Medical-device, biotech, or other regulated hardware / software industry experience.
- Proficiency with SAP, OneStream, Power BI, and automated dashboarding tools.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$136,000.00 - $230,000.00For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $150,000 - $256,000 USD.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
