- Own budget and forecast assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivities, and explain key drivers.
- Translate close results into an executive narrative (what/why/so-what/now-what) and deliver executive readouts and decision memos that present options, tradeoffs, recommendations, and decisions needed.
- Lead pricing and margin strategy, including exception decisioning and tradeoff analysis.
- Establish decision guardrails and thresholds and evaluate risk tolerance.
- Create decision-support reporting that delivers actionable performance insights and set benchmarks and promote best practices for reporting and performance measurement.
- Present financial updates and analysis to senior leaders.
- Run the forecast cadence and cross-functional planning calendar, including monthly and quarterly business review rhythms.
- Support audit and compliance readiness by owning CPA relationship strategy, surfacing risks early, and managing escalations and decision points in partnership with the Senior Accountant.
- Monitor balance sheet risk and working capital integrity with the Senior Accountant.
- Facilitate the quarterly pricing team process for spot buy system pricing.
- Align insights and recommendations to verified actuals through tight handoffs with the Senior Accountant.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, finance business partnering, and/or cost accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
- 5+ years of supervisory and team development experience.
