Heal.   POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance (Chief Finance Officer), the Finance Director (Controller) is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities.   The Finance Director will lead all day-to-day finance operations of a budget of over $38 million and supervise a team of 2 direct staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grants administration. The Controller will also have responsibility for ensuring that financial reporting by our 76 Chapters is accurate and timely delivered by volunteer Treasurers.  The Controller also manages the accounting and reporting process for nine retail thrift stores and one E-commerce store.  The Controller will ensure that St. Vincent de Paul Georgia has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation and conduct flawless audits. The Controller will work closely with program leaders and their staffs, not only to educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures, but also to explore how the finance function can support program operations.   Controller Job Responsibilities:   Qualifications   Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience and background plus benefits, including health insurance and 401K retirement plan, 401K match, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, FSA.   This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
