BAIN CAPITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

The Bain Capital Insurance investment team is comprised of 30 U.S. team members and 4 U.K. team members, who spend their time reviewing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, preparing investment materials and monitoring existing portfolio investments.  In addition, we are continuing to build out Bain Capital Asset Management (BCAM), a purpose-built asset management group with an investment mandate centered around providing insurance-focused asset management capabilities to both internal and external partners. BCAM focuses on managing assets backing liabilities across life insurance, annuities, P&C, and Long-Term Care products, with a focus on both capital preservation and generating strong loss-adjusted returns. Additionally, BCAM will leverage the Bain Capital platform and captive asset origination platforms to focus on investments across a wide spectrum of asset classes, from traditional fixed income to esoterics and alternatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will serve as the primary day-to-day finance lead for BCAM-Insurance, the dedicated investment adviser to Bain Capital’s insurance company and insurance-related clients. While prior experience in the insurance industry would be beneficial, it is not required. The successful candidate will, however, have relevant finance experience within the asset management industry.

Compensation:

Expected Annual Base Salary $160,000 – 190,000

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
