SCOPE

The Finance Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) books of account in accordance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and with ONWA policies and procedures. Finance Clerks provide both clerical support to the Finance Manager and financial management activities for the entire Finance portfolio as required. Their responsibilities include performance of regular accounting and administrative functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, filing, and data entry. The Finance Clerk is under the direct, daily supervision of the Finance Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Please know, this is an existing role we are looking to fill. The full salary range for this role is $43,700 - $53,497.60. ONWA conducts annual performance reviews, and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.
